I haven't had much to say lately because I personally feel so disconnected from the only item in the news - Hurricane Katrina. There have been little things such as religious groups claiming that it's God's punnishment for abortion and things like that that make me want to rant for a little while. However for the most part, I just read, shake my head and try and forget how bad it really is down there.

However, Rehnquist is now dead so I will probably have a lot on my mind to get off. The first of which is the media immediately claiming that it will be a blood battle - because there is no news unless it's telling us that no one in America gets along. Roberts' confirmation is far from over but they also claimed that that would be a blood bath too. I think Bush will pick another smart choice even though he probably won't agree with my philosophies. And he's probably still be better than Rehnquist.
